Activities and Calendar

COUNCIL ACTIVITIES

Business Meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Pastoral Center Annex.

Officers Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday at 7:30 PM. All members are invited to these meetings.

Some of our annual events include the Winterfest Dinner/Dance in January and six "Fish Frys" during Lent. Then on Easter we hold an "egg hunt" for the youngest members of the parish. We support the Rally in the Alley Parish Picnic and Summer Family Week with food preparation. At Christmastime we hold Breakfast with Santa and coordinate the annual Christmas Food Baskets and Children's Gift Program for the needy families in Sacred Heart Parish.

We have adopted a highway in the city and clean that 3 or 4 times each year.

We support two seminarians from the Diocese of Fort Worth with financial and spiritual assistance. And we are always ready to support our Pastor whenever and however he needs help.

Dec 2nd - Light up for Christ - Church Courtyard at 6:30 PM (about 20 minutes)

Dec 3rd - Officers Meeting at S.H. Parish Annex - 7:30 PM

Dec 6th - Casino Night for AM Home Medical

Dec 12th - 6:30 PM “Hanging of the Greens” in the church

Dec 13th - Casino Night for City Concrete

Dec 14th - Breakfast with Santa

Dec 16th - Serve Meal at Faith Mission - 7:30 PM

Dec 17th - Business Meeting at S.H. Parish Annex - 7:30PM - short meeting followed by members preparing the Christmas Food Baskets and Gifts for needy families

Dec 31st - New Years Eve Dance at Parish Hall - open to everyone $30 per couple

JANUARY

Jan 17th - Major Degree (2nd and 3rd Degrees will be conferred)

Jan 24th - Casino Night for Kemp Arts Center

Jan 25th - Free Throw Contest at NDHS at 1:30 PM
